A real estate investment firm is currently seeking an Associate General Counsel who will work closely with the firm's legal, acquisitions, leasing, asset management, compliance and other personnel. This individual would focus on handling and assisting with all aspects of the firm's real estate investment-advisory business.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate commercial real estate and investment fund documents and transactions
- Handle and assist with acquisition, disposition, financing, property and construction management, joint venture, leasing, investment management and compliance aspects
- Handle general business and company matters
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Significant transactional real estate and/or general corporate legal experience with a Law Firm or Real Estate Investment Firm)
- Strong inter-personal and organizational skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
