EEO/AA/M/F/Disabled/VetsJob Description :Hybrid Role 4 days in officePRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including congressional andexecutive branch staff, third-party groups, and coalitions.•Track and provide policy and political analysis on legislation pertaining to issues likegenerative AI, privacy, intellectual property, etc.•Attend and provide written reports on external events, such as congressional hearings andthird-party conferences.•Prepare briefings, talking points, and other materials to support News Corp executiveleadership engagements with Members of Congress, Executive Branch officials, and otherrelevant senior stakeholders.•Assist in preparing backgrounders, statements, lines of questioning, questions for therecord, and other relevant information for congressional hearings.•Manage and prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual lobbying compliance reports.•Work as part of a small and nimble team to advance the goals of the company, and performother duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:•Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university.•A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including working on Capitol Hill, theExecutive Branch, a trade association, a political consulting firm, or within a company'sgovernment affairs department.•Strong knowledge of federal legislative rules, procedures, and processes.•Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships.•Outstanding research, writing, and communication skills with the demonstrated ability todistill and synthesize complex issues into clear and concise messages•Flexible team player with the ability to effectively prioritize concurrent projects, executetasks, and meet deadlines while demonstrating professionalism.•Ability to work independently while demonstrating exceptional judgment and discretion.TRAVEL HOURS & WORK:•Position will require extended work hours as attendance at certain evening/weekendmeetings and events will be required.About News Corp•News Corp is a global diversified media and information services company focused oncreating and distributing authoritative and engaging content to consumers and businessesthroughout the world.
