How you'll make an impact
* Assist with strategic design and management of health and wellbeing benefit programs
* Assist with benefit plan benchmarking, design, cost savings and funding strategies with support from actuarial and financial team
* Assist with vendor management including participation in meetings, renewal negotiation, resolution of vendor performance issues, etc.
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of vendor RFPs for medical, dental, vision, COBRA, FSA, HSA and wellbeing programs, and the subsequent implementation
* Assist with collection, review and updating annual plan documentation (e.g., SBCs, SPDs, Schedule A/Cs for 5500s)
* Assist with providing exceptional client service in response to day-to-day client inquiries
* Assist with preparation for client meetings including preparation of agendas and meeting materials, coordination of resources, etc.
* May attend client meetings with consultant
* Special projects or assignments as instructed by manager
About You
Required:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational/time management skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with competing deadlines
* Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel Spreadsheet, Word Documents and PowerPoint
* Able to work collaboratively on a client team while also independently completing assigned tasks in a timely manner
* Able to ask insightful questions, follow directions, be detailed, organized and resourceful
* Produce quality work and demonstrate consistent value to their client teams
* Knowledge of group insurance (e.g., medical, dental, vision, etc.) / wellbeing programs and/or experience working for an insurance carrier, broker or consulting firm is a plus but not required
* Life & Health License or commitment to achieving within 6 months of start date
