The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join Segal's Human Resources Department at a professionally challenging time, given changes being implemented to support the company's growth. As an Associate HR Recruitment and Analytics, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of HR-related activities designed to develop and expand expertise, skills and abilities relevant to pursuing a career path in Human Resources. You'll work independently and on teams, collaborating with others both inside and outside of the HR Department on work assignments that requires initiative, ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines within a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. The role may involve planning and leading small-sized projects and tasks. This position reports report jointly to the Chief Human Resources Officer ( CHRO ) and VP, Director of Talent Acquisition and is based in the New York office, offering a flexible hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but may not be limited to supporting and/or leading the following:
- Providing Talent Acquisition Support sourcing, screening and scheduling candidates for open requisitions using the various job board subscriptions available.
- Talent Acquisition Programs - Collaborate on execution of National Campus Recruiting and Internship Programs.
- Conducting New Hire Paperwork Validation (i.e., processing I-9 work authorizations, acting as a go-to onboarding resource for others across the Company.
- Diversity Initiatives to include outreach and relationship management of diversity associations and search partners that focus on diverse talent.
- Metrics/Reporting (e.g., generating standard reports to track, monitor and analyze the various aspects of HR data for the CHRO and leadership, as requested, to include collaborating on report development and updating.
- Special Projects for the CHRO and VP/Director of Talent Acquisition. (e.g., planning - as needed, implementing and completing assigned special projects/tasks. For example: Data analytics, Taleo applicant system maintenance requests, HR automation improvements).
- Payroll Processing Backup and support on generating compensation reports.
- 1-3 years of experience performing in relevant roles that involve supporting and/or leading initiatives to deliver, maintain/enhance high quality HR operational services within a professional services firm and/or progressive corporate environment.
- Undergraduate degree desirable in human resources, business administration or related majors.
- Proficiency in all typical MS Office applications and software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with or aptitude to learn talent portals/candidate systems (e.g., Taleo, Workday, etc.) and more complex tools/applications such as MS Power BI.

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and consistently meet deadlines and/or manage expectations around agreed upon deadlines;
- Detail, organization, analytical and quantitative orientation;
- Self-motivated with high integrity, ability to exercise good judgement including working with highly confidential information;
- Strong technology literacy (i.e., proficiency in all MS Office applications and software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to include ability to navigate, learn and apply new applications and systems learning.

The current salary range for this position is $62,500 to $75,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
