Our portfolio spans a broad spectrum of public and private asset classes, and we are committed to expanding our capabilities and our toolkit in furtherance of our mission.The PositionThis role is part of the LMI Vendor Management team, and it includes ownership of the pipeline of investment vendor work and is the main point of contact for stakeholders seeking to source and establish new relationships and manage existing relationships with investment vendors/suppliers. A successful candidate will have a good understanding of the investment and information services industry and how these services are used in the asset management industry. ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with investment business and product owners and other stakeholders to understand Investment needs and deliver appropriate solutions through negotiating and executing contracts.Developing sourcing strategies in partnership with Liberty Mutual's Enterprise Procurement organizationIdentifying cost-saving opportunities and facilitating robust contract negotiations to achieve favorable terms and conditions, while ensuring data/service usage and pricing is accurately recorded.Maintaining an audit trail for all contracts and commercial agreements, ensuring all commercial terms are accurately recorded in procurement systems.As required, assist the LMI Treasury team with escalation of invoicing issues.Managing relationships with Investment suppliers and providers, ensuring service quality and adherence to contractual obligations.Conducting regular vendor service reviews including use of a clear vendor scorecard methodology.Actively supervising actual system usage to ensure value is acquired and to feed into renewal discussions and regular service reviews.Ensuring that the acquisition and use of Investment products and services complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.Staying abreast of regulatory changes affecting the investment landscape and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.Working closely with the Compliance and Legal teams to address any regulatory concerns and support audits related to investment suppliers and services.Assists Financial Planning and Analysis with budget analysis inquiriesQualificationsBachelor's degree in business or finance and 5+ years of investment and/or vendor experienceStrong communication skills with the ability to influence effectivelyComfortable working with external vendors as well as cross-functionally to drive business results Self-driven, superior organizational skills, integrity, and great follow through on tasks.
