Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Manager to join our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early career professional eager to start a career in project management. The ideal candidate will assist in managing projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This is an onsite role at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices. The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $83,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Project Coordination Assist in the planning and execution of project tasks and activities. Support the development of project plans including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed as scheduled. Communication & Reporting Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and action items. Communicate project updates to stakeholders and team members. Assist in preparing presentations for project reviews and status meetings. Administrative Support Provide general administrative support to the project management team. Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing project-related documentation. Process Improvement Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of project management processes and methodologies. Assist in implementing project management best practices and tools. Risks and Issue Management Support the resolution of project issues, risks, actions, and key decisions. Escalate as needed. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field OR equivalent experience: - Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. - Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planview (Clarizen), Jira) is desirable. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. - A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
