Position Summary
The Associate will play a critical and versatile role in supporting the due diligence process for potential investment opportunities, business analytics, portfolio op's support, and ad-hoc tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communications skills with an entrepreneurial spirit. The Associate will work closely with the full team to assess the viability and potential risks of investment opportunities, contributing to informed investment decisions. The Associate will play an important role driving operational excellence across our portfolio companies and optimizing overall business performance.
Key Deliverables
• Comprehensive due diligence on investment opportunities
• Detailed reports and investment recommendations
• Financial evaluations, market analysis, and risk assessments
• Presentations to stakeholders and leadership
• Development of KPI reporting and business analytics best practices
Position Responsibilities
• Analyze financial statements and perform due diligence
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Evaluate KPIs and financial metrics of target companies
• Manage business analytics and KPI reporting for portfolio companies
• Support integration of new acquisitions and strategic objectives
• Prepare and present findings to senior leadership
• Stay informed on industry trends
• Collaborate across operations, sales, strategy, finance, HR, and more as needed
Position Requirements
• 2-5 years in consulting, private equity, investment banking, or related fields
• Skilled in financial analysis and complex data interpretation
• Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Commitment to company values
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
