This role serves as a stepping stone for individuals aspiring to lead and manage dual language programs within Participate Learning School partners. The Associate Manager will work closely with the Manager, Dual Language to learn and acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience needed to effectively support and lead dual language initiatives. We are seeking someone who is fluent in Spanish, in order to best meet program outcomes and deliver excellent, responsive, smart customer service for our Participate Learning Schools dual language programs.What the Associate Program Manager will do:Planning & Management for programs and teachersShadow and assist the Manager, Dual Language in providing consultative services to school principals and district administrators, gaining insight into program understanding and leadership strategies.Accompany the Manager during teacher observations, acquiring skills in evaluating program fidelity and providing coaching support.At times these activities will be conducted independently.Relationship Management and Resource AllocationSupport the Manager in managing day-to-day relationships with school-level program administrators, learning to promote a high-quality client experience in a consistent, scalable manner.Assist in identifying curriculum and cultural programming resources, understanding materials ordering, distribution procedures, and effective communication of resource recommendations.Training and Professional DevelopmentCollaborate with the Manager to provide support in delivering training and professional development sessions to teachers and administrators, gradually gaining proficiency in facilitating effective learning experiences.Data Collection and AnalysisAssist in collecting program evaluations and outcomes data, gradually developing skills in data analysis and report preparation.Learning and DevelopmentEngage in ongoing learning sessions and mentorship under the guidance of the Manager, Dual Language to understand emerging trends, strategies, and key factors within the international and dual language education sector.Work closely with the Manager to align with the Participate Learning brand through program activities and initiatives.Experience You Bring:At least 3 years of teaching experience; strongly preferred to be in a K-5 bilingual setting.School leadership experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Education/Education Administration; graduate degree is preferred.Knowledge of the U.S. K-12 education market and context, with considerable experience in educational administration or program management.Advanced Spanish language skills required.Ability to effectively communicate, plan and collaborate with a wide variety of constituents, including educators, students, parents, community stakeholders, and school administrators.Ability to gather and synthesize data and research to develop innovative, effective, relevant, and sustainable programs.Leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and to influence and positively lead change and transition.Proficient planning, organization, execution and evaluation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to effectively, persuasively and credibly articulate the importance of language acquisition and global education.Understanding of and experience with rigorous literacy development.Experience with content-based language learning is desirable.High comfort level with technology and tech-tools to promote progressive instruction.Travel Required:Ability to travel to assigned school districts and spend 60-80% of your work week on the road.About YouPassionate about learning and welcoming people from all over the world, learning about their culture and sharing your own culture and experiences.We are looking for impact makers who believe in using their career as a force for good.Flexible with your time and energy and willing to expand beyond the day-to-day expectations of your work.
