In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) alongside our HRIS team ensuring its smooth and efficient operation including data integrity, streamline HR processes, and improve system functionality. You will play a crucial role in providing training and support to our HR department, ensuring accurate and timely data management, troubleshooting system issues, timely and accurate payroll, and configuration updates.As the Associate Manager, HRIS, you will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders on ongoing and on one-off projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance HR operations. This position will also have responsibilities for supporting the team with compensation related items including the backup payroll processing, annual merit increase process, stock compensation administration and the annual 401k company contribution calculation.Responsibilities* Manage and administer the HRIS system, including*
  • * Data entry: Support the corporate and local HR teams with data entry including entering promotions and monitoring workflows* System optimization: Assess current processes withing modules and recommend and implement functionality improvements* Configuration including shift rotations, meal breaks, punch policies, time away from work, etc.* File Feed Integrations: Oversee interfaces with other systems / vendors through file feeds (imports/exports), ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy* Provide training and support to HR team members on HRIS functionality and best practices* Responsible for the data integrity of HRIS system including regular audits and improving ongoing processes* Own the merit increase process for US ensuring hourly and salary annual increases are accurately collected and input ensuring adherence to compensation and budgetary guidelines* Support the Sr. Manager, HRIS & People Analytics with the annual Retirement plan Company Contribution Calculation including calculating eligible compensation and the company contribution for the 401k, ESOP & SERP* Support the Sr. Manager, HRIS & People Analytics with the administration of SMP's Stock Compensation plan including data integration, new grants, vesting (tax elections), employee communications, etc.* Serve as a backup to the Associate Payroll Manager for payroll processingRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field* Minimum of 4 years of experience in HRIS management or administration* Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles* Proficiency in HRIS platforms, such as Dayforce, Workday or similar systems* Advanced and efficient computer skills working with Microsoft Excel w/ advanced functionality (i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, comfortable merging large data sets, etc.)* A general working knowledge of the HR functions including benefits, talent management, payroll, performance management, etc.* The right candidate is a fast learner, a strategic and analytical thinker, has strong attention to detail, and can multi-task effectively to deliver at a high level.* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to handle sensitive information with high degree of confidentiality and discretion.* Excellent team collaborator in addition to being able to work independently* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Requirements* Experience with payroll processing, merit increases, 401k company contribution calculations and/or stock compensation administrationThe estimated salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000Please note that the salary range provided on the job posting does not include potential bonuses and other forms of compensation and, in some cases, may fall outside the range.
