Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Associate Merchandiser supports the Merchandiser(s) and Director of Merchandising in the seasonal merchandising process, from concept to delivery, by helping create fresh, trend-appropriate assortments that meet customer needs and drive sales, and ensuring the timely execution of each stage in the process.

Strategy & Innovation

* Assist in the implementation of strategy and assortment plans for merchandise category and channel, by delivery, to achieve the right balance of key items/fashion/basics, fit, value, price point, SKU count and volume; work closely on development with Design to ensure assortment meets cost structure(s).

* Analyze product performance, market conditions and feedback from customers; create regular reports for Merchandiser; maintain updated assortment information; identify and suggest opportunities based on analysis.

Operations & Results

* Partner with Design, Production and Sales to ensure adherence to time-and-action calendar and timely delivery of goods; raise/identify quality and technical issues and suggest solutions; ensure progress toward established financial goals.

* Assist in presenting line to supervisors; participate in review meetings, including edits, board review, pre-costing, line reviews, adoption and post-season reviews.

Customers & Relationships

* Communicate and follow-up with internal and external constituents around the world, including customers, suppliers, vendors and licensors, where applicable; assist with problem solving as needed.

* Collaborate with Sales to merchandise and style showroom; assist Merchandiser and Brand Management, where applicable, on collateral for in-store marketing needs.

* Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

* Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills

* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative

* Creativity, sensibility for merchandising and customer needs

* Basic knowledge of Jewelry design

* Bachelor's Degree

* 3 - 5 years' experience in accessories merchandising or buying, relevant experience in categories preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, proficiency in SAP preferred

Salary Range: $65,000 - $67,000

At Centric Brands, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to structure competitive compensation offers to ensure that we are able to attract and retain the best talent. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
