Associate Metallurgist 2nd Shift Location: Falconer, NYSalary Range: $49,000 - $59,000 Job Responsibilities:Metallographic sample preparation as per national & international standards Metallurgical testing like microstructure rating, carbide rating, grain size, retained austenite measurement, residual stress measurement etc. Mechanical testing e.g. Rockwell Hardness, Vickers & Micro Vickers Hardness Test etc. Chemical analysis on Optical Emission Spectrometer Maintaining lab cleanliness, reordering supplies, maintaining lab samples & lab records. Implement and uphold the 5S methodology to maintain an organized and efficient production environment Enforce company safety policies rigorously, ensuring a safe workplace for all employeesJob Education, Experience and Requirements:The position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
