Your RoleThe Associate Product Developer is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development and execution of product from design intent to production. - Create and organize sample tracking log in PLM system
- Tracking and checking in samples
- Organizing and distributing samples where applicable
- Ensure tracking information is updated by region/vendors
- Work with region/vendors to provide sample ETA's
- Risk assessment & trouble shooting issues for sample production
- Check samples for accuracy
- Work w/ design on sample accuracy call outs
- Work w/ region on sample accuracy & quality call outs
- Prioritize samples by level of importance
PLM System Responsibilities
- Data Entry (i.e. BOM Maintenance, risk levels, pass off dates/check in dates)
- CC (Color Components) Chart updates and maintenance
- Vendor Callout Log updates
Product Solutions
- Send development packages to region
- Track sent packages and log in with arrival
- Attend handoff/color component meetings to ensure accurate BOMs and CC charts
Change Management
- Attend weekly Product Readiness Meetings
- Manage any systems updates out of readiness meetings
Costing
- Review initial costs with manager each season for negotiations
- Update all retails and blends directly in costing system
Attends Key Meetings, which may include
- Cross Functional Team Meetings (RM Development, Product Readiness)
- Color Component Management Meetings (Color Blitz/Details)
- Development Fittings
- Weekly Team Meetings
Talent Management
- Assist/train new hires in onboarding phase
- Personal IDP/PPO creation

- Bachelor's degree in business or related area or equivalent experience
- 1 - 3 years of related experience
- Demonstrate strong, consistent problem-solving abilities and result-driven communication with business partners
- Keen written, verbal and electronic communication skills
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic knowledge of Flex PLM preferred
- Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates
- Ability to communicate design aesthetic direction to vendors/regional offices
- Basic knowledge of garment construction
