Our client seeks a military veteran to assist with managing programs. A strong candidate should be capable of the following tasks or be trained to accomplish them.The candidate will provide support of up to three product lines and managers. This role executes tactical steps in new product launch activities, conducts sustaining product tasks in support of Product Managers and provides basic technical support of sales.This position will also serve as the internal and external expert for assigned products, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers to promote the company, and its associated product solutions.This is an onsite fulltime position.Responsibilities:- Conduct market, technology, and competitive assessments- Assist with establishing product vision: defining the product roadmap, and what additional products or product enhancements are needed- Examine and analyze product line performance such as profitability, forecasting and inventory levels and so on and provide recommendations to management - Develop business proposals- Capable of managing all applicable deliverables for Phase/Gate product development process- Assist with establishing product pricing and assessing product costs and gross margins- Coordinate product launches- Recommend marketing materials and assist with their development- Create product forecasts and coordinate to establish appropriate inventory levels with Operations- Coordinate support function activities to sustain product line - Support of Sales channels as needed to make assigned product lines successful- Assist in the development of appropriate training materials for the value chain- Manage all web related activities for assigned product lines- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/Director 20% - 25% travel; to attend meetings or to visit customers.Base salary, full benefits, 401k.
