As an Associate on our Product Operations team, you will serve as a key member of the team responsible for optimizing and enhancing our end-to-end product development, systems, and sourcing process. You will work collaboratively with cross- functional teams to streamline and enhance our product operations. This operational role will provide significant exposure to a wide range of the business and teams. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with Merchandising, Design, Planning, Sourcing, Tech Design, Logistics, IT, Finance, Quality Assurance, Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and our Hong Kong team for J.Crew, J.Crew Factory, and Madewell. The role reports to the Director of Product Operations.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be a key member in supporting cross-functional projects aimed at improving product operations, such as product development calendar optimization, new systems implementation and enhancements, vendor standards and policy management, and vendor onboarding process management.
  • Be a critical team member to support the Director of Product Operations with special projects.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Assist with analysis and evaluation of existing processes, identification of bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and support development and implement of solutions to address them.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the cross- functional teams, supporting training, and guidance to team members on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Create and update internal and external facing process documentation and policies
  • Assist with key meetings content creation.
  • Facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in product operations, and support implement of relevant improvements to our processes.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable job experience 3+ years of experience in an analytical, operational, or project management role, preferably within a Sourcing organization
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the apparel industry
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with CLO 3D, PLM, and other Sourcing and Product Development systems
  • Strong strategic and analytical ability
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Problem-solver and solution-driven
  • Demonstrate agility in switching from project to project with high ambiguity, and able to reprioritize deliverables as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written ability; Adept at presenting information and storytelling
  • Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Note: Availability of these benefits and perks may be subject to work location & employment type and may have certain eligibility requirements.Salary Range: $64,200.00 - $77,000.00At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company's size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
