Associate Production Supervisor

Job Summary
The Associate Production Supervisor will review daily/regular plant operating performance and advise on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies/quality. Evaluate ideas for plant improvements and work with qualified engineers to develop project proposals. Provide technical/operational advice to project teams. May act as a principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and is responsible for the line's success.
- Evaluates daily/regular plant operating performance and advise on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
- Lead a team of individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements.
- Troubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution.
- Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability.
- Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and collaborates with qualified engineers to develop project proposals
- Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
- Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
- Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
- Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards.
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing
- 2-year college degree preferred
- Demonstrated experience in leading high-performing teams
- Recent experience in supervisory roles
- Root cause analysis experience
- Proven track record of building high-performing teams
- Line production experience
- Experience with reviewing material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.
- Leadership & Interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
