The Opportunity
This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Conduct quality-related activities to deliver consistent, high-quality documents, services, products and processes. Will have primary responsibility for batch record reviews, material releases, standardizations, up-front approval of batch documentation, and maintaining the record retention process.

- Completes compliant documentation and provides solutions to local problems of low scope and complexity.
- Supports project work and acts as community member.
- Quality System Compliance - Maintains awareness of industry regulatory standards.
- Ensures compliance to site-level policies and procedures by promptly reporting non-compliance issues to the department manager.
- Risk Management - Applies basic Risk Management principles to work.
- Complaint Evaluation - Investigates standard complaints.
- Design Control / Documentation & Change Control - Identifies needs.
- Provides reasons and justifications in support of change.
- Receives general direction.
- Makes simple decisions.
- Carries out tasks related to area of responsibility with management oversight.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOULL BRING
Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Life Science; Engineering; or closely related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience .
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Good written and oral communication skills to ensure effective and succinct communication with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Quality or related field experience preferred.
- Entry level position.
- Demonstrates basic understanding of regulatory requirements in the food industry.
