The Associate Recruiter - Physician Recruitment, in partnership with the Physician Recruiters and department leadership, is responsible for assisting with the managing of the recruitment and staffing process from sourcing and vetting candidates to the coordination and oversight of visit logistics for the successful recruitment and hiring of medical staff providers.

  • Develop and maintain effective rapport with key stakeholders and physician candidates to ensure constant process improvement in the recruitment continuum process and serve as ambassador for physician candidates by hosting site visits, and/or attending job fairs/specialty conferences for sourcing purposes.
  • Manage candidate-related department expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility, appropriate use of resources during candidate visits, and compliance with established guidelines.
  • Manage contract process, including origination, implementation, and execution for all division contracts including vendor and non-employed community physician recruitment agreements.
  • Maintain candidate information in the applicant tracking system in accordance with procedures.
  • Coordinate all candidate site visit logistics and oversee the completion of the interview process from beginning to end.
  • Partner with Physician Recruiter(s) in sourcing and vetting candidates as identified in the Physician Recruitment Opportunity Profiles and manpower needs.

    Required Work Experience: Two (2) years in healthcare environment, business development, physician recruitment, human resources, marketing/advertising or related field.

    Other Information: Must become a Fellow of the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) within one (1) year of hire preferred.
