Job Description:
The Associate Registrar works closely with the Registrar in implementing policies and procedures related to the student information system; is responsible for coordination of data exchanges with the Clearinghouse. The Associate Registrar is the manager of the Records & Registration portion of the college's website; oversees the applicability of coursework to degree programs for financial aid eligibility; oversees Transfer Evaluation process; assists with the developing and running of office reports; oversees the Waitlist process, Final Exam Schedule, and Project Manager for Degree Works. The Associate Registrar is also responsible for supervision of office staff including hiring, training, evaluation and professional development.
Requirements:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree or higher
Experience Required: Three years of experience at an educational institution in student services or enrollment management area. Experience with an integrated student database system. Knowledge of college registrar processes. Strong management skills and two years of supervisory experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
* Master's degree
* Proficient in the use of computers and information systems including Microsoft applications and a variety of software applications including advising, scheduling and student information systems.
* Experience with integrated student information and degree audit system. Banner and Degree Works preferred.
* Ability to resolve problems and develop relevant alternatives and recommendations.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Ability to present complex information and data in coherent fashion.
* Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationship with supervising personnel, coworkers, all constituents and the public.
* Perform well under pressure, within time constraints, with a high degree of accuracy, diplomacy and confidentiality.
* Ability to coordinate workflow while dealing with multiple projects and deadlines.
* Must be able to travel between the college's two campuses and other sites.
* Bilingual Skills.

Salary: $58,350 to $72,592 per annum; commensurate with experience. This is a Staff & Chair, Grade 60, 12 month position.
