Overview: The Associate Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the Surgical Sales Representative in operating room case coverage and patient activation. The Associate Sales Representative is expected to customarily and regularly spend more than half of their working time away from the Company's established place of business or home office engaged in activities related to surgical sales to the Company's customers.

Responsibilities: Essential responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Meeting and speaking in person with physicians as actual or potential customersTraveling to customers' place of business and spending substantial time with physicians at their locationsDriving to actual or potential customersAct as a support representative to the Surgical Sales Representative to cover Glaucoma Portfolio surgical cases in the operating room, within both company and industry compliant guidelinesAnalyzing, utilizing, and compiling prospect lists for purposes of calling and/or meeting with physicians as actual or potential customersSupport SSR in new patient activations with existing trained Sight Glaucoma Portfolio-trained surgeons as actual or potential customersSupport SSR in inventory pull-through and new patient activationsEffectively socialize with actual or potential customersNegotiate with physician customers (actual or potential) regarding terms of saleCalmly and effectively address the concerns and complaints of physicians, whether they are actual or potential customersComplete administrative paperwork in a timely manner and provide reports to Manager regarding established average call activity and feedback from physiciansNeat, accurate, and timely preparation of paperwork necessary to consummate transactions with physicians who are actual or potential customersNeat, accurate, and timely preparation of reports of business transactions and expense accountsAttend various sales training workshops, sales meetings, national/regional conferences, and relevant trade showsMaintains direct contact with customers before and after the sale to provide approved marketing assets and support materials and respond to customer and SSR needSupport company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures that comply with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and any other applicable domestic or international requirementsMaintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, distributors, consultants, vendors, and co-workersSkills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent requiredStrong relationship-building skillsStrong sales presentation skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and potential customersAbility to work independently and as well as within a strong team environmentAbility to read, analyze, and interpret sales literature, agreements, policies, manuals, and other documents related to the business of the CompanyAbility to write reports, prepare business correspondence, and complete forms and agreements required to market and sell the Company's productAbility to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumeExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills are necessaryValid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locationsKnowledge of Word Processing Software, Spreadsheet software, and Internet softwareThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds#J-18808-Ljbffr
