The Associate Scientist's primary responsibility is the execution and documentation of scientific experiments and maintaining laboratory equipment. The position assists scientific staff in conducting and reporting the results of laboratory experiments. The individual monitors ongoing experiments for any unusual occurrences. The individual will develop a practical understanding of own scientific discipline and apply this knowledge in support of product development. External US Essential Functions: General knowledge of basic, viral vector, chemical and/or biochemical analysis and associated techniques. Assist with virus titration methods. Routinely follow established protocols and SOPs to produce highly reproducible results. Assist with method transfers and method development. Prepare buffer solutions and perform other lab duties related to methods development. Collect and analyze data, summarize results and report results.
