Position Details:Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Andover, MA is currently looking for a Associate Scientist to join their expanding team.Job Title: Associate Scientist / Mammalian Cell CultureDuration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 36 monthsLocation: Andover, MANote:The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of the contract.You may participate in the company group medical insurance planJob Description:Associate Scientist - Upstream Process Development ContractorSummary:The individual will join a team of scientists and engineers focused on developing and optimizing mammalian cell culture processes for recombinant proteins and biologics for early-phase and late-phase clinical trials.Responsibilities:Responsible for executing mammalian cell culture experiments in bench-top bioreactors and associated scale-down equipment with the goal of developing robust, scalable, high productivity processes that produce therapeutic proteins with the appropriate product quality attributes for use in treating human disease.The work will also involve working with clinical production facilities to ensure accurate technology transfer and successful large-scale production.Qualifications:Minimum bachelor's degree in scientific fieldMaster's degree with Aseptic Technique experience preferredAble to multitask in fast paced environmentAccuracy and attention to detailClear communication skillsEffective organizationFast-learnerLocation/Schedule:This is a fully onsite role in Andover, MAMonday - Friday; first shit (occassional weekend/off hours as needed within the 40 hour work week)Schedule:Monday – Friday 9 – 5 / Occasional weekend/off hours as needed within 40-hour work weekInterviews:First round phone screening, second round panel Teams Meeting
