The incumbent for the position will be a valuable addition to the logistics department to support the needs of the department. The incumbent will play an active role in daily shipping, receiving, and packaging activities of the medical device(s) and kit(s). Participate in various day-to-day activities within logistics and supply chain management including but not limited to inventory management, ordering planning / replenishing, packing, martial handling, warehousing etc. All work responsibilities to be performed carefully and accurately to meet the high quality standard of the company.Responsibilities:Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to,Assist the Operations Manager in processing all incoming shipments into the EUROIMMUN US, Inc. facility and delivery packages to the appropriate personnel.Assist the Operations Manager in handling the receipt of incoming products and verifies that the invoice attached correlates with the quantity of items received.Assist the Operations Manager with controls and documents the labeling that is placed onto newly received productAssist the Operations Managerin preparing and organizes all outgoing shipments for customer orders and trade showsAssist the Operations Manager with maintaining the organization of the refrigeration & warehouse storage areasDetermine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouseLook through work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions providedAscertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery palletAssist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe mannerArrange for carrier vehicle or pickupMaintain files of shipping recordsAttach identifying information and delivery instructions on containersOrganize records of goods shippedNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time.Basic Qualifications:Associate degree and 2 years in Logistics/Material Management or Shipping/Receiving experienceORHigh school diploma/GED and 4 years in Logistics/Material Management or Shipping/Receiving experiencePreferred Qualifications:Strong knowledge of SAP Business OneProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Knowledge of import/export policy and tax regulations and gov requirements and clearance agencyKnowledge about needed documents for clearing shipments from FDA, CDC, FCC, etc.Strong knowledge in the management and function of warehousing / DC ManagementAble to handle fluctuations in workload and activities as they evolve.Good team player with a willingness to learn and take on new initiativesAbility to multi-task and influence decision making processes and activitiesWhat do we offer?We provide competitive and comprehensive benefits to our employees.Below are some highlights of our benefits:* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Options* Life and Disability Insurance* Paid Time-Off* Parental Benefits* 401k with Company Match* Employee Stock Purchase PlanLearn more about Revvity's benefits by visiting our Why Revvity page.*For benefit-eligible roles only.
