About this roleCompany: BlackRock Corporation US, Inc.Job Title: Associate, Software EngineerLocation: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001Job Duties:Development of enterprise solution based on multi-tier architecture in a distributed environment using Java related technologies, application servers, databases, and tools.Utilize Spring, Hibernate, Maven, GIT, Splunk, Apache Ignite, Cassandra, Kafka, and other open source technologies.Design and develop microservices and APIs to help with Settlement Management process for ETF.Apply design best practices using design methodologies/patterns.Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, implementation, and production support.Work independently and communicate effectively with team members across the globe.Help team members with knowledge transfer of various functionalities and conduct code review changes done by team members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience as an Associate, Software Engineer or related.
