Job OverviewResponsible for addressing the patient's and/or the support person's needs for spiritual care and emotional care and related services.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:One (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:A graduate-level theological degree from an accredited school of theology OR equivalent graduate-level degree that may be counted towards board certification.Eligible for certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or National Association of Jewish Chaplains.EXPERIENCE:One year of healthcare chaplaincy experience preferred.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
