This role is an exceptional opportunity for attorneys passionate about the intersection of tax law and renewable energy, particularly within a top-tier legal environment that values professional growth and work-life balance.About the Role:As a Renewable Energy Tax Associate, you will be integral to our client's distinguished Tax & Employee Benefits team. You will work alongside top legal professionals, assisting clients in navigating complex tax issues within renewable energy transactions. This includes advising on:
  • Tax Credit Qualification and compliance under sections 45 and 48 of the tax code.
  • Begin Construction and Prevailing Wage Requirements.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Tax Equity Financing, Joint Ventures, and Tax Credit Transfers.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: 1-4 years of relevant tax experience in a law firm setting, with a solid background in tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, and tax equity financings.
  • Academic Credentials: Excellent academic background is required; an LL.M. in Taxation is preferred.
  • Skills: Proven ability to work in a dynamic, high-performing team and commitment to client service.
