Job Description:

Who We Are:

Ongoing threats to national security require timely intelligence data, including signal intelligence obtained through electronic surveillance. Since the 1940s, SwRI has supported U.S. and friendly foreign governments, as well as commercial clients.

Objectives of this Role:

* Support for development of LORA (Level of Repair Analysis), FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis), RAM Data (Repair and Maintenance), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and provisioning data. Support Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair data.

* Ensures comprehensive consideration of all factors that impact on logistic design and support, including research and development, emerging technologies, testing, procurement strategy, supply support, personnel, and training.

* Develop maintainability and supportability requirement inputs to design specifications, trade studies and tradeoff analysis.

* Translate engineering and other technical information into source data for ILS reports and customer deliverables.

* Support and coordinate project required shipping activities for international and domestic customers.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

* Development of LORA (Level of Repair Analysis), FMECA (Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis), RAM Data (Repair and Maintenance), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and provisioning data.

* Develop maintainability and supportability requirement inputs to design specifications, trade studies and tradeoff analysis.

* Support and coordinate project required shipping activities for international and domestic customers.

* Assist with developing technical manuals, maintenance instructions, and in service support activities.

Requirements:

* Requires a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related degree field with relevant experience.

* 1-6 years: Integrated Logistics Support - experience with reliability, maintainability, and supportability concepts; understanding of MTBF and MTTR data; ability to interpret and comprehend engineering drawings and documentation.

* 1 years: Logistics freight support with exposure to dealing with international and domestic shipping policies and procedures (export/import, harmonized codes, customs documentation).

* A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Requirements:

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
