Purpose of Job: As an Associate Tech Support Analyst, you would work as a part of a dynamic team that provides technical support and issue resolution to internal and external customers, including users of all types and skill levels. Responsibilities may also include security access processing, ID tracking, maintenance of reporting logs, password reset assistance, PC hardware repair, software install, asset inventory, and more advanced troubleshooting and support.

Major Responsibilities: This position provides technical support for providers and clients within UnitedHealth Group clinics. It includes troubleshooting software, hardware, network connectivity, installations, upgrades, backup recovery and project implementation.

  • Support Windows 10/11
  • Printer support
  • Configure and support thin clients, PC's and laptops
  • Image devices via HPDM and Altiris
  • Work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex task
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Build and maintain Virtual Desktop's (VDI)
  • Application support of Ivanti and Altiris
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and prioritize workload
  • Analyze all issues and determine the root cause
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within infrastructure
  • Cisco Products, i.e. phones and telephony applications
  • Work directly with clients and doctors when issues arise with minimal down time
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users for software installation and equipment
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Setup workstations for clients
  • Meet SLAs established by Management
  • Accountable for all tickets assigned via ServiceNow and following up with clients on open tickets
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written
  • Build solid relationships with providers and staff

Shift:

  • Working hours for this role are any 8 hours that fall between 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
  • Monthly On Call Rotation 1 week a Month

Location:

  • This role is a working in the local area within a 50-mile radius
  • Must be able to travel/drive to and from clinics

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • Certification in any of the following disciplines (A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCP)
  • 4+ years of Desktop Support experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree
