Associate, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Make markets in mortgage securities which includes setting prices, providing clients liquidity in commercial real estate-backed securitizations (and related derivates thereof), and facilitating two-way client flow while risk managing exposures for the Firm. Develop empirical models to complement statistical analysis of index-based products, that will be utilized to recommend investment strategies internally and to clients. Requires: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years in the following: working with pro-forma cash flow model for a single commercial real estate loan or asset (includes portfolios of related assets); reviewing and analyzing sub-market (“MSA”) level trends for occupancy, rent and expense, capitalization rates, and sale comps; performing regression data analytics on historical trading data, specifically related to the CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities) Index called “CMBX”; communicating effectively and efficiently verbally and in writing with a wide range of stakeholders on risk issues, as well as externally in response to customer inquiries; and working with a broad range of fixed income products including interest rate swaps, credit derivatives (including credit default swaps (“CDS”), credit default swap indices, and total return swaps (“TRS”)), exchange-traded funds (“ETF”) and derivates thereof.
