As a leading global long-term investor, we Work at the Point of Impact for Singapore's financial future, and the communities we invest in worldwide.GIC Private EquityWe deploy capital in areas where we can utilize our comparative advantages, namely, a long investment horizon, global presence, sector expertise, as well as skilled and experienced teams.Transaction ManagementThe role of a Transaction Manager ( TM ) in GIC is to work in-step with the investment teams to project manage the smooth and timely closings of investments within the GIC private markets.The Transaction Manager will execute a variety of projects and tasks related to deal closing and investment operations across a number of strategies:Responsibilities:
  • Work in close partnership within the global Transaction Management team to enhance and automate key operational processes, develop and enhance process management and fund reporting targeting both efficiency and scale.
  • Manage the flow of information via the centralized inbox for fund and client investment communication.
  • Be the go-to resource for all process queries or application of processes and policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely exchange of KYC documentation and funding for new investments, evidence of deal closings and resolution of any queries.
  • Be the main middle office point of contact for external counterparties such as counsels, custodians, and KYC / AML agents to receive and process equity transaction documents and funding on a timely basis.
  • Collect, record, update and reconcile quantitative and qualitative investment data for use in reports, projections, and analyses, maintain fund databases.
  • Liaison with deal teams on timing of new investment approvals and closing requirements to operationalize.
  • Accurately manage processing and reconciliation of investment commitments, financial crimes, and compliance (FCC) requests, and audit findings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely funding information to external partners to facilitate deal closing.
  • Upload complete records of closing documentation to the document management system.
  • Ensure daily/monthly deliverables/tasks are managed globally with consistent communication across London and Singapore.Advantageous to have:
  • General familiarity of the investment sector and general knowledge of private sector investing.
  • Interest in working on projects in a fast-paced environment as part of a global team.
  • Awareness documentation of private transactions, company secretarial practices and the nuances of private market transactions.
  • Appreciation of KYC and FCC market standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deals at any given time.

We pay for performance, and reward sustainable results.Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $110,000.
