Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.*Job Description**Purpose of Position:*Performs medically prescribed ultrasound procedures.*Job Responsibilities:** Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's Service Standards and incorporates them into the performance of duties.* Demonstrates knowledge of the hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.* Effectively assess patient's information and status, and follows appropriate procedure(s) accordingly.* Independently implements patients' procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards.* Demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance procedure.* Directs and monitors student clinical training.* Performs all duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor and/or Designee.*Minimum Qualifications*1. Valid certification in Sonography issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and2. One (1) year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist3.
