Job Summary:

The primary purpose of the Valuations Associate is to provide global support in the operational activities for retail sales.

Key Duties Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Retail Services Support

Provide Retail Replacement Valuations for all new purchases as requested by the global retail salon network.

Produce updated Retail Replacement Valuations as approved by the Department Head.

Special Client Services

Oversee special services such as authentication or historical information on items in for repair.

Archives

Utilize archived information for the purposes of authentication and/or manufacturing.

Assist in the preparations of lectures and presentations.

Provide research on Harry Winston lots sold at auction.

Key Job Relationships:

• Internal: The candidate will report directly to the Sr. Valuations Associate
• Internal: The candidate will work closely with the global salon staff and the supply chain.
• External: The candidate will work with private clients, independent appraisers and insurance firms.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate Gemologist required
• College degree preferred
• 1-2 years of luxury retail experience preferred
• Strong administrative skills, particularly writing skills
• Committed to client service and sales executive support
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other standard Windows based programs as well as diverse general knowledge in utilizing computer functions.
