Associate Veterinarian Veterinarian (Gen Practice) Gardena, CA Description Position at California Veterinary Hospital Seeking a full time veterinarian for California Veterinary Hospital! California Veterinary Hospital, located in the scenic Gardena, California, boasts a prime position just 10 to 15 minutes from multiple Los Angeles County beach cities, LAX airport, and downtown Los Angeles. Situated amidst this vibrant setting, our hospital is fully paperless and well-equipped, featuring state-of-the-art facilities such as digital radiographs, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and dental radiographs. Currently, we are seeking a full or part-time veterinarian to join our team, someone who values building strong client relationships and collaborating with our knowledgeable, experienced staff. At California Veterinary Hospital, our mission is clear: to deliver the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients while simultaneously educating and assisting our clients in all facets of animal care and ownership. The salary for this part time position ranges from $120,000-$170,000, with additional production-based incentives, dependent on experience. Moreover, we offer a unique opportunity to choose from various incentive options, including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Essential Responsibilities & Functions: Demonstrate dedication to providing patients with top-tier veterinary care, utilizing the latest advancements in diagnostics. Possess a client-service mindset, with a focus on cultivating and retaining a robust client base. Show enthusiasm for engaging with and contributing to the local community. Champion the practice's objectives and values, inspiring others to do the same. Adhere to established policies and procedures governing hospital operations. Efficiently manage caseloads, maintaining accurate records using SOAP templates for treatment plans and recommendations. Foster a collaborative working environment, emphasizing the value of teamwork. Prioritize timely care for traumatic injuries and serious illnesses. Educate clients on the significance of vaccinations, heartworm treatments, flea and tick treatments, and other preventive care measures. Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
