Responsible for operational activities and functions within behavioral health outpatient services.
Directly support functions for providers integrated into primary & specialty care & behavioral health settings.
Responsible for the overall operation and growth of the business units, in conjunction with physician leadership of the assigned business units.
Develops and implements business unit policies and procedures in conjunction with physician leadership of the assigned business units.
Establish long-range objectives and monitors financial performance of the business units with the physician leaders of the assigned business units.
Ensures effective, efficient, and cost-effective use of non-clinical resources in order to maintain a productive environment.
Provides direction to, holds accountable, develops, and evaluates non-clinical staff in their performance of all goals and objectives of the business units and the organization.
Evaluates regularly the effectiveness of the business units' organization and implements changes as necessary to promote strategic and operational effectiveness.
Develops and maintains effective liaison with management, physicians, patients, and employees.
Understands, supports, and participates in information technology, development, marketing, and public relations initiatives for the business unit and system.
Provides administrative support to achieve the objectives of medical education and clinical research.
Serves as a liaison with community and governing authorities.
Serves as facilitator and point person for the assigned business units.

Approximately 25% travel within the Geisinger service area is required.
