DescriptionKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis (AVP - FP&A) is a leadership position within the Finance Division that oversees the development of financial strategies, leads the financial planning and analysis team, and partners with various university divisions to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic objectives.
The leader in this role has responsibility for ensuring financial sustainability, improving financial processes, and driving data-informed decision-making. This role includes management and oversight responsibilities for the University's consolidated budgeting, multi-year financial planning, financial analysis, and reporting. The AVP is a strategic thinker who regularly identifies issues related to budgeting and financial planning across the University and guides the implementation of business process improvements, playing a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the university.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed-upon guidelines of the department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to the employee.
