  • Lead a team in developing target accounts through hands-on involvement in acquisition, growth, delivery quality, client satisfaction, risk management, profitability, and team effectiveness.
  • Build strong partnerships and authentic relationships with clients' executive teams, managing the overall relationship.
  • Continuously assess and mitigate client risk.
  • Drive business expansion by identifying and nurturing new engagement opportunities.
  • Develop compelling and targeted account strategies that drive new account acquisition.
  • Manage client investments and a portfolio of projects to meet or exceed margin forecasts.
  • Grow as a thought leader by developing your professional network through association memberships, speaking and writing engagements, and community activities.IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:
    • Over 10 years of management consulting industry experience, with a trajectory towards senior leadership or senior executive level.
    • More than 10 years of business development experience in Public Sector Health and Human Services, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven success in leading new business development opportunities and selling solutions for existing and new Public Sector Health and Human Services client accounts, including proposal development experience.
    • Experience with large, complex procurement-led opportunities and developing and selling opportunities on Statements of Work (SOWs).
    • Familiarity with Medicaid, Income Support, Nutrition Support, Child Welfare, Child Support, and Behavioral Health programs at the State or Local Government level.
    • Demonstrated success in leading a geographically distributed team.
    • Experience in running engagements, managing teams, and driving desired business outcomes throughout delivery, with the ability to identify gaps and omissions.
    • A track record of leading large, complex consulting engagements, involving building and fostering relationships with senior-level client executives.
    • Ability to establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates authentically.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. A master's degree and/or professional certificates are bonuses.TRANSFORMING CLIENTS.
