Job DescriptionSun River Health provides the highest quality of comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all who see it, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Associate Vice President of Talent Acquisition. The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing, screening and assessing talent for purposes of aligning viable candidate fit with the organization's staffing needs. This individual develops a presence in the talent community that represents employer brand to both active and passive candidates. The AVP manages the processes, administration, and communications necessary to maintain a talent pipeline and assists in making effective hires that support Sun River Health's talent strategy. This position will also manage the provider recruitment organization wide. This individual will continually be on the lookout for new recruitment opportunities and will have the ability to formulate strategies that drive engagement for our consumers and take company's recruiting strategy to the next level. This position will be expected to travel and network across all three of our regions on a regular basis therefore position is considered remote/hybrid.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop a creative strategic plan to source candidates from multiple channels. Utilizing various technologies/social media and establish external recruiting resources including agencies, LinkedIn, Indeed, professional associations and universities.
- Ensure an efficient applicant tracking system is effective.
- Drive JEDI initiatives though strategic planning and tactical implementation as it relates to recruitment strategies and practice.
- Create and track recruitment metrics; use the date to continuously evaluate and improvement recruitment strategies and practice.
- Conduct review and develop job descriptions to appeal to applicants.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the business needs, departmental structure.
- Collaborate with HR and Onboarding teams to develop and implement effective joint recruitment and onboarding process.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Manages all aspects of full cycle recruitment process including posting of jobs, sourcing/reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews.
- Assistant with career fair planning and efforts; attend internal and external events including virtual events.
- Create completing messaging and materials to communicate Sun River Health's employer brand and attract candidates.
Experience:
- 5+ years of recruitment experience is required
- Experience in healthcare; Federally Qualified Health Centers is preferred
- Experience working with J-1, H-1 and other visa sponsored candidates
- Strong communication
- Ability to build relationships
Education:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Master's degree is preferred
- SPHR, SHRM certification or PHR is preferred

- Efficient in MS Office programs
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Software, Oracle
