Job Description:

A Wealth Management company in Atlanta (Cumberland area) has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Wealth Advisor to join the team. The Associate Wealth Advisor is expected to form long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with clients, team members, vendors, and the community. The AWA is an integral part of the growth strategy. The AWA serves existing clients and generates new clients through networking, referral sources, and relationship-building activities. Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducts periodic account reviews as assigned.
  • Provides positive and professional service to the assigned client base.
  • Engages in professional communications via phone calls, text messages, emails, and meetings, focusing on timeliness, follow-up, and concierge service.
  • Develops, updates, and presents financial plans, as assigned, documenting client goals and wealth roadmap.
  • Meets with the client to determine financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Offers strategic advice on products and services, such as investments, portfolios, mutual funds, and annuities.
  • Performs market research to remain current with financial and economic trends.
  • Generates and develops new client relationships through networking activities, referral sources, and relationship-building activities, supporting the firm's growth strategy.
  • Attend client meetings and complete follow-up activities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with the assigned client base, focusing on trust, service, and operations and increasing the firm's Assets Under Management (AUM).
  • Conducts client education to include monthly webinars.
  • Utilizes the CRM to manage schedules and maintain all client documentation.
Qualifications Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, economics or business administration
  • 1 - 3 years of experience
  • Competent with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and financial planning software, i.e. MoneyGuide Pro, Client Relationship Management, Microsoft Office, Google Products
  • Licensure - FINRA Series 6, 63, 65, and Life Insurance or Series 7 and 66 and Life.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, such as finance or business administration.
