Sauna360 Inc, a Watkins Wellness/Masco compnay, is seeking a Wrapper Associate to assist in developing a shipping operation in a manner in which it will achieve quality production on schedule and at the lowest possible cost. Maintain good housekeeping and enforce safe work practices. Emphasis is placed on the inspection of the final product, ensuring that it meets our acceptable quality levels and customer needs. Wages are starting at $22 per hour.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Shipping goods
* Prepare records of goods shipped
* Make up bills of lading
* Post weight and shipping charges
* Keep files of shipping records
* Contact and coordinate the appropriate carrier
2. Packing goods
* Knowledge of various items to verify content selection of appropriate type and size of the package
* Use appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage
* Applying labels or entering identification data on the package
* Ensure quality based on internal and external packaging standards
3. Order Filling
* Use stored merchandise per specifications
* Requisition additional packaging and report short supplies
4. Use of equipment
* Operate a powered forklift truck or pallet jack to move, stack, and load products.
* Banding and shrink-wrap machines
QUALIFICATIONS
* The ability to lift 75 - 100 lbs frequently throughout the scheduled work day.
* 1 year of shipping and/or packaging experience
* High school education or GED preferred
* Forklift experience a plus
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Excellent organizational and time skills
* Basic math and writing aptitude
* Some mechanical knowledge
* Planning, scheduling, and implementation skills
* Must be detail-oriented
