No Duties and Responsibilities
* Assists the head coach in day-to-day operations of a Division I intercollegiate program
* Oversees organization, coordination, initial evaluation and communication with potential student athletes, while maintaining NCAA compliance.
* Supervises and oversees the preparation of opponent film breakdown, assisting in team video sessions.
* Uploads and downloads opponent video, opponent video breakdown and scouting.
* Organizes and oversees team travel.
* Oversees all areas of opponent scouting.
* Coordinates with Admissions for incoming student-athletes.
* Coordinates Alumni and Fundraising Events
* Shares responsibility for the organization and administration of summer camps.
* Participates in team travel and overnight weekend trips.
* Responsible for position specific and systematic training and player development.
* Performs other administrative duties as required.
* Ability to adjust and accommodate to differing techniques in a diverse and positive learning environment.
* Good organizational skills.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Two years of collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required. Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education.
Qualifications
An ability to draw upon coaching/playing experience and contribute to technical training as well as in match tactical adjustments.
Must have working knowledge of MIVA and NCAA rules and regulations.
