The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Coach - Men's Golf for the Athletics Events - Operations department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following
* Assists in all facets of the golf program.
* Assists with the coordination of Men's Golf intercollegiate athletic program which provides an opportunity for student-athletes to compete on a competitive, Division I men's golf team while attending school to earn a college degree.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
* Bachelor Degree.
Certifications/Licenses
* A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of NCAA rules.
* Good organization skills.
* Strong communication skills.
* Knowledge of the golf swing and advanced golf playing strategies.
* Advanced knowledge of the rules of golf.
* Technologies such as Trackman, GC Quad, Puttview, SAM Putt Lab etc.
Preferred Qualifications
* Two (2) years of college coaching experience.
* Tournament operations experience.
* Strong social media management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
* Strong analytical skills used on golf statistics.
Equipment Utilized
* Driving a van.
* Use of golf technologies.
* Social media platforms.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
* Driving, lifting, demonstrating golf, setting up practice facilities.
* Walking 36+ holes on tournament days.
