DescriptionAssistant Director of Self Direction
Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Self Direction will oversee the operations of the CFS Self-Directed Supports Inc. self -directed services and support. This includes supervision of program team, ensuring quality and compliance with city, state, federal and agency standards, taking a leadership role both within the agency as well as in the larger IDD community.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of respective program staff (Sr. FI Program Managers, FI Program Managers, Coordinator and Program Assistants).
- Responsible for ensuring that the program criteria are met including levels of service.
- Responsible for ensuring that the quality standards are met including compliance with federal, state, city, and agency standards.
- Participate in internal and external committees.
- Review and process Support Broker
- Review and process FI expenditure reports
- Collaboration with HR, QA, Finance depts. on SD related matters
- FI departmental meetings at least quarterly.
- Responsible for addressing grievances and satisfaction issues brough forth by both employees and our individuals and families.
- Responsible for facilitating routine Individual/Family Meetings and create/distribute monthly newsletter.
- Responsible for managing crisis and emergencies as they happen.
- Responsible for developing and ensuring implementation of various agency policies and procedures.

- Review and process Support Broker billing.
- Review and process FI expenditure reports.
- Collaboration with but not limited to Project Manager, Training, Data Analytics, HR, QA, Finance depts on SD related matters.
- Responsible for addressing grievances and satisfaction issues brough forth by both employees and our individuals and families.
- Responsible for facilitating routine Individual/Family Meetings and create/distribute monthly newsletter.
- Responsible for managing crisis and emergencies as they happen.
- Responsible for developing and ensuring implementation of various agency policies and procedures.
- Responsible for intakes and managing a small caseload of individuals receiving Self Directed Services.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
- MA/MS in Human Services preferred.
- BA/BS Required
- Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience with OPWDD Self-Directed services.
Salary and Benefits
$82,000-$85,000
