Job Description:

We're in search of an?Assurance Supervisor?to join our growing team.?Under the direct supervision of a manager or partner as assigned, the Supervisor is part of the engagement planning and management process and routinely assumes full responsibility for directing engagements and special assignments. The Supervisor evaluates the internal controls used by the client, prepares, or reviews the audit program and time budget for subsequent approval. They support the training of other technical staff and may have direct reports,?offers guidance and direction,?and gives constructive review points on working papers.

The Supervisor coordinates planning of the various phases of an engagement, including staff requirements, visits to off-site work locations, client meetings, and job planning and scheduling with the manager or partner. They manage engagement efficiency and client relationships to maximize timely engagement wrap-up, client service, contribution to firm profitability, and timely collection of receivables.

What you'll do:

* Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Evaluates work papers and determine that the engagement was performed in accordance with generally accepted standards.

* Reviews, with the Manager or Partner, any significant findings that raise questions involving accounting principles and presentation.

* Prepares or reviews financial statements, notes, schedules, and management letters for later discussion between the manager or Partner and the client.

* Prepares staff evaluation reports and contributes to staff development by serving in educational programs as a facilitator or discussion leader.

* Accountable for practice development by creating relationship opportunities with clients and non-clients to expand our practice, and beginning to develop prospects.

* Responsible for directing engagements and special assignments.

* Stays up to date on new accounting standards (knowledge and implementation)

* Responsible for tracking billable hour and realization goals.
