Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Work Shifts9:00 A.M - 5:00 P.MJob DescriptionPurpose:NYC H+H / South Brooklyn Health (SBH) is in need of an early to mid-career leader to operationalize and lead a multitude of initiatives and support the Associate Executive Director Strategy and Planning in progressing the strategic plan and activities at SBH.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:The Assistant Director, Planning MPP I is charged with and responsible for:•Independently manage multiple initiatives related to the strategic goals and initiatives for SBH•Coordinate and oversee interdisciplinary teams with diverse stakeholders to progress initiatives to completion•Create business/project plans and budgets and conduct analyses and research for assigned activities and programs•Facilitate the implementation of the SBH strategic plan in conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team•Supports management of external partners related to assigned initiatives•Monitors and reports on activities, initiatives, and programs assigned to appropriate Executive responsible for progress•Develops and manages sustainable structure for SBH strategic plan assessment and updates•Prepares and supports professional writing and presentations in coordination with Executive Leadership Team (includes, policies and procedures, local presentations, conference and journal writing and presentations)•Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, strategic, financial, and problem-solving skills•Promotes and implements processes to facilitate appropriate, culturally sensitive, and ethical care for patients of all ages, genders, races, ethnicities, and abilities•Aligns with the mission, vision, and strategic plan of South Brooklyn Health, and NYC H+H•Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications# Qualification for Health Care Facilities. 1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Administration, Social Sciences, Management, Health Care Administration or an approved related field in an accredited college or university; and, 2. Five# years of progressively responsible planning, design and program development experience pertaining to the operation of a major segment or all of a hospital or health care facility including substantial exposure in meeting community health needs, health care planning, design and program implementation functions with at least three* or two# years of responsible level administrative experience coordination health care planning, design, development and public policy programs; or, 3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Science, Hospital Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Administrative Medicine in Public Health or approved related field; and, 4. Four# years of progressively responsible experience as described in (2) with at least two years of responsible managerial and highly responsible level administrative experience coordinating health care planning, design, development or public policy programs; or, 5.
