We proudly build the best product possible for those who protect and embody American freedoms.THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking an ATF Compliance Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and partner with multiple departments across the organization to ensure all firearm compliance standards are met. This exempt role is onsite, typically working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESRecords Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all firearm transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions: 4473s, 3310s, and 5300s
- Ensure all documentation complies with ATF regulations and company policies and maintain Bound Book Records
- Conduct regular audits of records to identify and correct discrepancies.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Serve as primary point of contact with the ATF and other regulatory agencies.
- Monitor all firearm sales and transfers to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Verify the accuracy of background checks and ensure proper documentation is completed for each transaction.
- Prepare and submit the required ATF reports.
Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees on ATF regulations and compliance requirements
- Ensure all relevant personnel are informed and trained on compliance policies and procedures.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
- Work with various departments to ensure that compliance risks are managed effectively.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, Law or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in firearm compliance preferred
- In-depth knowledge of ATF regulations and requirements
- Excellent analytical abilities, judgement, verbal communication and writing skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency with MS Office suites and Epicor preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Candidate will be required to attend at minimum one ITAR/Commerce or ATF related training seminar annually.
