Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Hours fluctuate seasonally between: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Location: 89 W MILLS ST, Columbus, 28722

The role youll contribute:

The purpose of the position is to facilitate athlete care duties following the guidelines established by practice act, licensing board, and under the direction of and referral by physician in respective state. To provide quality athlete care according to practice standards of National Athletic Trainer Association appropriate to age and disability related to limitations in function. To document and perform charge related functions. To be responsible for acting as a representative of profession, PT Solutions, and own person in a positive outlook. To market athlete care services to community, physicians, and other referral sources.

The value youll bring to the team:

  • Follow and support ATC Standards, expectations and Policy and Procedures, ensuring consistency among sites.
  • Appropriately assesses and examines athletes with varying diagnoses according to the Athletic Training scope of practice.
  • Administers immediate first aid and emergency care based on nature of injury, including follow-up with physician as appropriate.
  • Communicates with the athlete, physician, coach, and family regularly.
  • Coordinate personal schedule in conjunction with Area Supervisors and Area Managers
  • Documents health care injury records and provides clear instructions for follow-up.
  • Assesses athletes status in response to treatment and rehabilitation modifies programs as appropriate.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • Licensure appropriate to governing body of state licensing board.
