What You'll Do:
* Provide athletic training services to our student athletes at UD Mercy. You will be the primary athletic trainer for one team as determined by the university, with opportunities to assist additional teams.
* Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and UD Mercy to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
* Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
* Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
* Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
* Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.

What We're Looking For:
* Board of Certification (ATC) and Michigan state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before hire).
* A post-professional master's degree in athletic training or related field is preferred, along with two years of experience (can be combination of education and experience).
* Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
* Knowledge and adherence to NCAA, NJCAA, and MHSAA policies, with a commitment to supporting community outreach programs.
Additional Skills or Certifications:
* Additional certifications like CSCS, PES, FMS, CKTP, EMT are highly valued.
* Softball experience at any level is preferred
