Required Qualifications

Education

* Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program.

* Certification by Board of Certification for Athletic Training

* New York State Athletic Training Licensure (or ability to obtain with 30 days of employment)

* CPR/AED/First Aid Certification

Experience

* A minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in athletic training

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of working experience in athletic training

Reporting to the Head Athletic Trainer, the Athletic Trainer supports the medical needs for all 22 intercollegiate NCAA Division III sports and 2 Division I sports (men's and women's ice hockey). This person will be responsible for prevention, evaluation, treatment, management, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses associated with athletes involved in intercollegiate athletics. The incumbent will adhere to NCAA bylaws and policies, possess and maintain NATABOC certification, possess or be eligible for New York state licensure, travel, work weekends and odd hours, supervise student employees, and function under team physician oversight.
