Salary Range: $63,209 - $68,687 plus stipend

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or related field
* Valid Athletic Training License from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers (Required)
* Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
* Travel to away games within 300 mile radius and within Texas with varsity football team during football season.
Duties::
Provide athletic training services to student athletes in accordance with state athletic training practice act including evaluating and treating musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses and providing preventive, therapeutic, emergency and rehabilitative care. Maintain appropriate general treatment log to be reviewed by Athletic Director. Provide athletic training services for all home athletic contests and away varsity football games. Act as liaison between family physicians, specialists, the school district, athletes, and their parents. Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments and provide insurance claim forms for sports injuries treated by a physician. Assist with development of athletic training program budget. Schedule and be present for pre-participation sports physicals. May teach CPR, First Aid, and AED to Coaches in feeder pattern if certified. Meet and Review Oversight Concussion Team protocol yearly. Provide the coaches and athletic director with a list of athletes medically eligible to compete under district and state rules and regulations. Teach Health classes. Develop and implement lessons plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program and technology. Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for differences in students learning styles. Performs duties in a professional, ethical and responsible manner. Maintains a professional level of confidentiality concerning personnel and students. Upholds and adheres to safety rules and policies of the Clint Independent School District safety program. Keep informed and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies for classroom teachers. Performs any other duties as assigned by the appropriate supervisor.
