  • The Football Equipment Manager position is a hybrid position that includes coaching duties with the special assignment of managing our equipment. We manage approximately $150,000 worth of equipment during football season and it is this position's responsibility to minimize loss/damage to that equipment. Additionally, this position manages our game/practice equipment and technology setup and teardown. Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Keeping inventory of practice equipment
  • Collecting, washing and organizing game uniforms
  • Repair of broken equipment
  • Organization of equipment
  • Organization of equipment room
  • Charging headphones, camera equipment and other devices prior to games
  • Packing of equipment, loading and unloading and sideline setup for all games
  • Communicating with Head Coach about things that need replaced
  • Working with Vendors to get estimates, complete purchases of equipment
  • End of season reporting of equipment, needs for next year
  • Filming of practices and games and uploading video to online platform
  • Other coaching duties as assigned by Head Coach
  • This position requires, at a minimum:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Computer skills, familiar with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of camera systems and other basic technology
  • Ability to work with simple hand tools
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work with kids when school releases
  • Pay is based on the Battle Creek Education Association negotiated contract and is currently set at a $2,800 stipend. SCHOOL SAFETY CLEARANCE: The successful candidate will be subject to a fingerprint and background check as a condition of employment. All fees required for this check (estimated $73.00) will be the responsibility of an applicant.
