We recognize and teach to individual strengths, responding to areas of challenge but never defining students by them.Job Description The Athletics Operations Assistant will support the daily operations of our Athletics Department. This position will involve a variety of operational and administrative tasks to ensure the program's smooth functioning.Key Responsibilities
- Setup and breakdown of practice and game spaces.
- In partnership with other staff members, act as an official supervisor at home and away competitions.
- Serve as the scoreboard and/or shot clock operator during home competitions as needed.
- Assist with management equipment and uniforms, including distribution and collection.
- Support the Director of Athletics with various administrative tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Gmail).
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in an athletic or educational setting is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Hours
- Up to 20 hours per week, scheduling based on the needs of the athletics department.
